What pre and recent retirees like you are really wondering.

Can I afford to retire?

How do I know when I have enough to stop working?

Retirement isn’t one magic number. It’s what your life costs, what your money can support, and how much room you want for the things you haven’t planned yet. We help you see what “enough” actually looks like, and what changes if you retire this year, next year, or three years from now.

Taxes after the paycheck

Which accounts should I spend from first?

Once the paycheck stops, you have more control over your taxable income than you probably ever have before. IRA withdrawals, Roth conversions, Social Security, investment gains: the order matters. We map out what to take, from where, and when.

Retirement income

I’ve spent my whole life saving. How do I get comfortable spending?

The saving reflex doesn’t switch off when the paycheck stops. We’ve seen people spend a decade living on less than they could because no one ever told them what was safe. We build you a paycheck from your portfolio, so you know what you can spend, and where it’s coming from.

Supporting the next generation

Can I help my kids without hurting ourselves?

Usually, yes, but there’s a big difference between helping with a house down payment and becoming the family bank. We run your plan first. Once we know what’s truly yours to give, you can decide what you want that money to do for them.

Healthcare before Medicare

What do we do about health insurance until 65?

Retiring before 65 means your income and your health insurance suddenly become connected. How much you withdraw, and from where, can change what you pay for coverage. We plan them together, so a smart tax move doesn’t accidentally become an expensive healthcare decision.

When to give

Should I give them some of this money while I’m still here to see it?

Most inheritances arrive after the years when the money could have changed the most: buying a first home, raising kids, starting a business. If you have more than you’ll need, we can show you what giving sooner would mean for them, and exactly what it would cost you.

At Mana, we speak retirement.

Our process is built for the years when you’re living your best life and planning your legacy, all at once.

Design a retirement you love.

Your next chapter

What do I want retirement to look like?

You’ve spent decades organizing life around work. Retirement gives you the time back, but a blank calendar isn’t a plan. We help you think through what you want more of, whether that’s travel, family, purpose, flexibility or something else, and build a financial plan that supports it.

Aging with a plan

What happens if one of us needs more help later?

Where would you want to live? Who would step in? What would care cost? These are much easier decisions to make before you’re forced to make them. We help you think them through now, so the people you love aren’t left guessing later.

What you leave behind

What do I want my money to do after me?

Maybe it goes to your kids. Maybe some goes to charity. Maybe you’d rather give more of it away while you’re here to see what it makes possible. We help you decide what matters to you, then make sure your estate plan and your money reflect it.

We’re paid by you. That’s it.

We’re proud to be fiduciaries, which means no commissions. No hidden fees. We’re required to act in your best interest. See our FAQs for more detail.
